CHRISTUS Schumpert’s bike-run fundraiser, “Run with the Nuns”, was a two year project that called upon nearly every skill set I had; photography, web, print and entirely too much time with the “pen tool”.

The printing consisted of several posters, brochures, shirts and mailers.

Designing entertainment promotionals has always been one of the perks of the job. I used a mix of Photoshop and Cinema 4D to create several of the posters for the above for the River City Repertory Theatre.

Southfield is a unique private academy in both it’s heritage and focus on the arts. I used several “macro” shots of architectural features and student creations to recreate the same feeling for the read that I received on my initial tour through the school.

I have served twice as interim Creative Direct for SB Mag Magazine (Sept 07/May 08 issues) and as a freelance artist for illustrations, lead-ins and cover artwork.

One of my favorite commissions was definitely the Soldier’s face from the “Home from War” story.

I started shooting my own supplemental photography with a “point-and-shoot” when I couldn’t find proper stock for a project. Later I moved up to a Canon Rebel as my 1st SLR. Eventually I experimenting with .RAW format and working more regularly as a photographer in design jobs.

Currently I’ve got my eye set on a D300.
